Dialogue 1

Natasha        Where are you from, Nicolai?

Nicolai            I'm from Russia. I live in Moscow. It's the capital. Where are you from?                    Natasha         Me? I'm from right here in Brighton.

Nicolai           Where do you live, Natasha?                                                                                      Natasha         I live in Victoria Drive. By the sea.

Nicolai           By the sea! Great! What do you do, Natasha?                                                            Natasha         I work here with Mary and Simon. I'm a computer programmer.

Nicolai           What about Simon? Ia he from Brighton too?

Natasha         No he isn’t. I think he is from London. But he lives here now. Mary is his wife.

Nicolai            OK.

Dialogue 2

Nicolai     This is my family.

Natasha    Is it? Show me.

Nicolai      This is my father. He is Georgian. He’s from Georgia.

Natasha    You are Russian.

Nicolai       I’m Russian. But my father’s Georgian. That’s my mother. She’s Russian. They live in Moscow.

Natasha     The capital.

Nicolai       That's right. This is my brother, Boris. 

Natasha     What does he do?

Nicolai        He's a computer programmer too. And this is my sister. Her name's Natasha.

Natasha      Wow! Me too! My name's Natasha and her name's Natasha too!

Combine the sentences using but or and.
